Meet Boogie Fre$h, the West L.A. artist who is spicing up the rap scene with his integration of smooth R&B and his fluency in the French language.

"I have a unique style. From rapping to singing and poetry all in one. From my catchy hooks to different languages. My style is pretty Old School with a little bit of this generation's type of music."

Boogies admiration for artist Pharrell Williams is visible in every aspect of his music. If there’s one word to describe the artist it would definitely be “Fly.”

Synonymous to Pharrell, Boogies music videos keep one theme alive, keeping it player and smooth.

In an interview, Boogie shared how he owes his success and profound interest in music to his mother as she aided in building his confidence by always pushing him to pursue a career in music since he was a toddler.

"She always loved and attended my choir days as a kid and listens to all of my songs now," he said.

He also shared his admiration for artists JayZ, Snoop Dogg, and Nipsey Hussle.

The rapper just dropped his EP “L.A.M.P“ short for ‘L.A.’s Most Player.’ A project Boogie describes as “Nothing but Player vibes.”

The EP consists of four strategically titled tracks; L.A.M.P, I Don't Want You, Player Foreal, and Black Excellence.

Boogie delivered just what he promised. Music that can be enjoyed without boundaries, glossy melodies and beats that make you instantly move.

The artist is expected to perform later this month along side Don Diestro, Summer Breeze, Issacar9 and live band “The Enemy” at El Cid in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the show are now live on Eventbrite.com.
